As a therapist, I recognize the unique challenges each individual brings to therapy; this, then leads me to design a treatment plan which utilizes the various therapeutic tools that I have mastered over the years.
Initially, my purpose is to obtain a clear understanding of each individual client whereby I assess:
- The presenting problems.
- Historical components; identifying the person’s strengths, vulnerabilities and needs.
- How these three components play into the presenting problems.
Through my skill and expertise I then:
- Assist the client to see how they may be unconsciously perpetuating mal-adaptive behavior…within the context of their presenting problem
- Construct a mutually agreed upon goal oriented treatment plan that will facilitate change in relation to presenting problems, resulting in an “enhanced sense of well-being”
Utilizing my years of training in various techniques, I can help a client to:
- Overcome trauma
- Eliminate negative life patterns
- Decrease depression
- Reduce anxiety
- Cope with health issues
- Quit smoking
- Improve interpersonal relationships
- Process grief and loss
